ASSINIBOIA - The Town Council and the Community of Assiniboia shows support for the people of the Ukraine by raising the Ukrainian flag in a show of solidarity this week to fly in front of the Town Office complex.
The flag was donated by Ivan and Iryna Kenes and their two sons, who are Ukrainian citizens who are now living here in Assiniboia. The Kenes are working alongside Destin Ash of A-Line Medical Training, to fundraise for a product called Celox, which is a military bandage that aids in haemostat and would dressing, to do what they can to help their home country.
We all know the crisis happening in the Ukraine is devastating, especially for those who have family and friends still there.
