The Assiniboia RCMP asked for the public's assistance in locating the person responsible for the assault that took place on the 200 block of First Avenue East in the Town of Assiniboia.
The Assiniboia RCMP were notified of an incident that occurred sometime between the hours of 2:00 a.m. and 2:30 a.m. on October 10.
The person involved left the scene in an unknown direction, leaving the victim with minor injuries.
The person responsible for the assault was described as a male who was approximately early 20s in age and wearing a red top.
