Ronald Himmelspeck, who along with six others was arrested and charged for kidnapping and assault, was released from custody Aug. 30, after the Crown agreed to the release without a show-cause hearing.
The Estevan resident had been in jail since his arrest on May long weekend, but was released on a $500 cash deposit recognizance. Two of those arrested for the incident remain in custody, while the rest have been released on conditions with future court dates.
Himmelspeck's conditions include house arrest and he will reside in Regina, electronic monitoring, a weapons prohibition and he is under a non-contact order with each of the victims and co-accused.
Himmelspeck's next court appearance is Sept. 19.
