Alcohol was a factor in three incidents that resulted in Estevan Police Service (EPS) action this past week according to their reports.
On the night of Feb. 17, a 34-year-old man was charged with impaired driving and driving while his blood-alcohol level was over .08 per cent. He now has a scheduled court date.
On that same night, a couple of men, aged 20 and 32 were arrested for being intoxicated in public and charged with fighting outside a local lounge.
EPS members then arrested another couple of men, aged 19 and 20 who were charged with being intoxicated in public. They were lodged in cells until they gained sobriety.
EPS members next arrested an Estevan woman on outstanding warrants and as the evening progressed, several more people were charged with a variety of offences which included traffic and alcohol-related violations.
