WEYBURN - The Weyburn Chamber of Commerce announced that nominations are now being accepted for the Golden Sheaf Award, which is presented at Agriculture Appreciation Night (formerly known as Farmer Appreciation Night).
The Golden Sheaf Award gives the Chamber the opportunity to recognize excellence in agricultural achievement and to help foster rural-urban understanding and consideration.
Golden Sheaf Nominations are due October 15, 2021 and can be picked up at the Chamber office or downloaded from the Chamber website at www.weyburnchamber.com .
The Agriculture Appreciation Night is an annual banquet to recognize the importance of agriculture in our local economy, celebrating the hard work and dedication of local producers and ranchers. The program includes dinner, presentation of the Golden Sheaf Award, and entertainment.
The Agriculture Appreciation Night takes place on Tuesday, November 2 at McKenna Hall starting at 5:30 pm. Tickets are currently on sale.
