Crude oil imports also decreased, but, by a more modest volume, going down by 3.6 per cent to 2.9 million cubic metres. Imports represented 40.1 per cent of total crude oil received at refineries in Canada.

Crude oil inventories held at refineries totaled 3.8 million cubic metres in June of this year, which was up by 0.8 per cent compared with the same month in 2015.
