ESTEVAN - The City of Estevan, along with George Harris Collaborative, is hosting the second of three engagement events for the downtown revitalization project.
A session will take place at the Nicholson Centre, which is part of the Estevan Leisure Centre, on Jan. 25 from 6:30-8:30 p.m. The city will hold a brief presentation at the beginning of the event, followed by an interactive design workshop for input and collaboration on the upcoming downtown plan.
The event is part of Phase 2, which will focus on what people want and the future of downtown. The public will be asked to provide input on types of changes.
The first engagement phase was completed last November. The second and third phases will further allow the public to provide their input and see how that input has been reflected in the design.
“Make a difference in your community by letting your voice be heard on the revitalization of the downtown,” the city said in a news release.
If you can attend, please RSVP online at Estevan.ca. If people cannot attend, they are asked to contact the city at [email protected] so that they can try and facilitate hearing what they have to say.
The event for Phase 3 will happen at a later date.
