'Women of the Year' to 
be recognized

The Women Of The Year Awards banquet will be held at McKenna Hall on Monday, April 15, hosted by Quota Club International of Weyburn. The luncheon will begin at noon and is scheduled to last an hour and a half.

Senator Raynell Andreychuk, of Saskatchewan, will give the keynote speech.

Senator Andreychuk is a lawyer who has also served as a judge and ambassador.

The Young Women of Distinction Award is sponsored by The Investors Group and Megan Blair and Tonya Mokelki have been nominated.

Margo Jacob, Tessa Dupuis and Susan Adderley have been nominated for the Access Communications Exceptional Entrepenuer Award.

The Award for Excellence in The Workplace is sponsored by SaskPower and Shirley Wheeler, Muriel Wahl, Karilynn Nikolejsin and Sydney Ivany have been nominated for it.

Shannon Seitz, Twila Walkeden and Marg Stewart are nominated for the Quota International Of Weyburn Community Service Award.

The nominees are all Weyburn and area residents and were chosen by people from the community.

The winner of each award will be announced at the luncheon for each of the four categories.
