Winners on display at Gallery

The top ten winners of the James Weir People's Choice exhibit are now on display at the Weyburn Credit Union Art Gallery.

The top ten winners of the James Weir People's Choice exhibit are now on display at the Weyburn Credit Union Art Gallery.

A collection of new works by eight members of the Soo Line Camera Club are on display until the end of February at the Signal Hill Art Gallery.

A new show called, 'Artless Fabrications' by Carol Schmold opens at the Allie Griffin Gallery on February 5. The exhibit is an unusual display of fabric art in the form of a diary. The 52 beautiful pieces represent each week in the life of the artist during 2007.

There is a call for submissions for all artists to take part in the annual Local Adjudication. The items will be on display in March and April at the Signal Hill Art Gallery. The adjudication will take place on April 26 and adjudicator, Ward Schell, will give an all-day workshop called 'Painting Like an Impressionist' on April 27. Applications are available at the Allie Griffin Gallery and at the Signal Hill Arts Centre.
