As of Saturday afternoon the city has 3 watermain breaks and are asking city residents to please conserve water.
At 3 a.m. Saturday morning, there were power blips due to the storm and a major water main break on 5th Street near the pool; the watermain break has been isolated.
However the power blips also caused a frequency drive to momentarily go down at the water plant, causing a drop in water pressure around the city; this is temporary and it should be back up again.
Meantime the city is trying to get city crews out to fix the break; if not it will be contracted out to be fixed today, Saturday.
The indoor pool at the Leisure Centre will be closed today (Saturday).
