The Weyburn Duplicate Bridge Club holds games Monday evenings at 7:00 p.m. and Thursday afternoons at 1:00 p.m. at the Wheatland Senior Centre. All bridge players are welcome.
On March 4 there were three and a half tables that played and first place went to Jim Brown and Chuck Widdis, second place went to Bernie Dufour and Marg Stewart, and third place went to Diane Bell and Barry Mactaggart.
Three tables played on March 7 and Jim Brown and George Gillies finished first, while Barry Mactaggart and Lucie Nickel were second.
With four tables playing on March 11, Gord and Diane Bell took top honours, Marg Marinos and Audrey Warawa placed second and Barry Mactaggart and Marg Stewart were third.
March 14 had four tables and Barry Mactaggart and Lucie Nickel placed first, followed by a tie for second between Jim Brown and George Gillies and partners John Whitell and Chuck Widdis.
Four and a half tables played on March 18 when Barry Mactaggart and Gord Bell claimed first place, Jim Brown and George Gillies placed second, John Whitell and Roy Wallin were third, and Annie Balzer and Marion Brown were fourth.
On March 21 with three and a half tables playing, Jim Brown and George Gillies were first place finishers, followed by a tie for second between Barry Mactaggart and Lucie Nickel and Fred and Lydia Milleker.
Four tables played on March 25 and first place winners were Jim Brown and George Gillies, second place finishers were Erskine Sandiford and Andy Dumba, and third place went to Gord Bell and Barry Mactaggart.
March 28 also had four tables and Gord Bell and Barry Mactaggart had a strong game to finish first, Jim Brown and George Gillies placed second and John Whitell and Chuck Widdis were third.
