A dinner theatre event on April 27 began the five-performance run of the musical "Oklahoma" in the WCS cafetorium. At the dinner theater, sponsored by the Rotary Club of Weyburn, generous patrons donated nearly $1,700, which will go to the Rotary's Polio Plus program to eliminate polio around the world.
The final two performances of "Oklahoma!" take place May 4 and 5 starting at 7:30 each night. Tickets are available at Brady's House of Flowers, the school and at the door.
WCS athletes advanced to the regional badminton tournament on May 5.
Because of the shortened school year, the academic and activity awards night will take place on May 10. The public is encouraged to attend this event, which honours WCS students in all aspects of school life.
