WEYBURN – The Weyburn Arts Council will hold two virtual online events this week, including their annual general meeting on Thursday, March 24, and the awards presentation for the James Weir People’s Choice art competition on Friday, March 25.
The annual meeting is open for the public to attend via zoom, and begins at 6 p.m. Contact curator Regan Lanning at the Weyburn Art Gallery for the zoom link to attend the meeting.
Voting for the People’s Choice art competition ended on Friday, and the winners of the voting will be announced online on March 25 at 7 p.m., with a livestream on social media platforms.
A new Anti-Racism Art Exhibit opened on Friday at the Weyburn Art Gallery, and will be on display until May 2.
The exhibit features art by local youth who are newcomers to Canada.
The exhibit can be viewed during the regular hours of operation for the Credit Union Spark Centre.
