Crocus 80 has launched a summer theatre program for young people between the ages of six and 14 years of age.
Touched by an Alien is a short comedic skit where the Commander and his crew travel to an alien planet to capture sub-intelligent life forms, but who is more intelligent?
Crocus 80 welcomes all interested, enthusiastic and dedicated youth to audition at the Tommy Douglas Centre on June 27 and 28 at 7:30 p.m.
Under the direction of Bernadette Green, successful applicants will have the awesome opportunity to learn performing arts skills focusing on building their imagination, creativity, stage presence, self-awareness and character development.
Evening rehearsals will begin the first week of July and will take place three to four times a week.
The young artists will share their work by kicking off Crocus 80's centennial production of Circle the Crops, written by Edward Willett. The scheduled performances will be August 2 and 4, although additional performances may be required.
