Saskatchewan Express is celebrating Canada鈥檚 150th birthday by per颅forming 鈥淥h! Canada鈥�, which is a brand new show conceived, written and directed by Carol Gay Bell.
This exciting show is a celebration of Canada and Canadian music. It features music by artists from all eras and in all styles in颅cluding some of the great颅est stars of the past and present. Songs includes those written by Justin Bieber, Anne Murray, Ce颅line Dion, BTO, Leonard Cohen, Serena Ryder, Con颅nie Kaldor, Shania Twain, Susan Aglukark, Carly Rae Jepsen, Buffy St. Marie and Joni Mitchell.
The talented Saskatch颅ewan Express performers in 鈥淥h! Canada鈥� include Aaron Balkaran from Moose Jaw; Cassandra Cur颅ley, Simone Narki Karner-Ashong, Joel Stanley and Ryan Ramsay, all from Regina; and Jillana Wolos颅chuk from Saskatoon.
鈥淥h! Canada鈥� is directed by Carol Gay Bell who is joined by profes颅sional performers, Kaitlyn Semple, Sheldon Berg颅strom and Dawn Berg颅strom as vocal directors. Musical arrangements are by Craig Salkeld with choreography by several artists including Jaezila Crittenden, Breanna Mills and Jillana Woloschuk.
鈥淥h! Canada鈥� is on-stage at the Prince of Wales Centre in Assiniboia on December 8 at 7:30 p.m.
Tickets are available at the POW Centre, the As颅siniboia and District Arts Council and the Assiniboia Public Library. Tickets cost $25 for adults, $20 for sen颅iors and students and $10 for children 12 and under for all shows. Cash only sales at these ticket outlets. Potash颅Corp presents Saskatchewan Express.
