The Weyburn Chamber of Commerce celebrated the holiday season with the 18th annual Parade of Lights on December 1. The streets were filled with families who enjoyed the floats as well as hand-delivered candy. Santa Claus also rode on a float in the parade.
This year, E. Bourassa & Sons won the business float category and the Young Fellows won the organizational float category.
After the Parade, the Chamber, Weyburn Young Fellows, Weyburn Co-op, and Weyburn Big Brothers Big Sisters partnered to host a big bonfire and served hot chocolate and cookies at the Exhibition Grounds.
