The Prince of Wales Centre in Assiniboia welcomed Susan Wilson as its new general manager in late July. She replaces Kaylee Beck. Wilson comes from Coronach and has been living in Assiniboia for the past year. She works together with the board for day-to-day activities.
鈥淚 am happy to help with all of your booking needs,鈥� Wilson stated. The Prince of Wales Centre is a busy, central venue for the town. It will be booked solid for weddings for the remainder of the summer and a full schedule of programming is coming up this fall. There is also an indoor walking program.
The POW building houses the Assiniboia and District Public Library and Kay Cristo Room, meeting rooms, the auditorium, the curling rink, Olympia Theatre with concession, and the second floor has an accounting office and fitness centre.
