Dana Rogers, left, and Taliya Knight make sure the table looks picture perfect for their teachers and other staff at Assiniboia Park Elementary School on Friday before the annual student-prepared dinner was served to the staff at the school. The dinner is a conclusion to an ongoing project by Grade 4 and Grade 5 students to teach them how to be gracious and giving without expecting anything in return. Prior to this, the students were each given one teacher or staff member to do nice things for, like a secret Santa, and revealed themselves at the dinner. A.P.E.S. staff were served sandwiches, a hot entree, pudding and beverages.
