Pioneers to entertain at Senior Centre

The Wheatland Senior Centre will be hosting The Pioneers as they entertain during the dance on Tuesday, May 27.

The results of the senior Centre's activities from May 11 to May 17 are as follows:

Monday Bridge play saw George Gillies in first place, second to Joyce Hemphill, and in third place was Marion Brown.

The Friday Bridge tournament ended with George Gillies in first place, second place to Marion Brown, and in third was Berty Lou Dreis.

Trump Whist first place winner was Ray Boucher, with Lavica Mahnke in second place, and in third was Fred Groshong.

Hi-Lo Whist saw first place go to Howard Giroux and Marie Marcotte, in second place were Myrna Oxelgren and Mildred Thompson, and Tom Schutz and Basil Holyer placed third.

Canasta first place winner was Mary Maas, with Elsie Callan in second, and third place going to Arvella Soroka.

Kaiser tournament play had Fran Franks and Melba Bent in first place, with second place to Kay Bachman and Basil Holyer, and Chris Diemert and Dorothy Lacaille in third place.

Thursday's Crib play saw first place go to Phyllis Lindskog and Donna Davis, second place went to Marge and Leonard Schultz, and in third were Connie and Ray Boucher.

Fun Crib on Friday ended with first place going to Marie Marcotte, second place to Sheila Greiner, and third place to Marg Leavens.

Fun Shuffleboard play ended with Vern Leach and Margaret Lukey in first place, second to Tom Schutz and Dale Greiner, third place was a tie between Norma Lohse and Ray Boucher, and Lavica Mahnke and Vi Paterson.
