Students, along with Red Wings player Ryan Cooper, help load out bags of food donation into the collection trailer being pulled by a farm tractor, for the FCC "Drive Away Hunger" campaign to collect food for the Salvation Army's Food Bank. St. Michael collected a total of 789 pounds, and from the city schools a total of 4,347 pounds were collected on Oct. 15 and delivered to the food bank. Volunteers from FCC then helped put the food away into the various food categories; this campaign, along with one held by Canada Post employees, have been helping to replenish the food bank with much-needed food supplies.
