The skies near the Parrish&Heimbecker terminal, formerly Weyburn Inland Terminal, are lit up explosively by lightning from a thunderstorm that rolled through the Weyburn region on Aug. 1. There were warnings of a severe storm that evening, but the storm produced little rain around the city area. The weather was hot and humid, perfect conditions for thunderstorm activity.
