Luke McMaster has been down all roads in his career and his new album and title track, All Roads, paints a picture of that journey.
"I was born with no sense of direction," said McMaster as he was travelling in his vehicle with his guitar player. "I was on vacation without a GSP or compass and my brother said to me, you can't get lost, all roads lead back to here."
"It's crazy stuff. I love that line," he added.
McMaster will be performing at McKenna Hall on Monday, October 7 with a portion of the proceeds going to The Family Place.
"As an artist, I believe in having a conversation with my audience. All Roads is a song about the journey through life back to love, and that is how I view every concert. I believe that my fans should leave one of my shows with much more than they came for," said McMaster.
The All Roads concert tour follows his recent success with top #3 Billboard smash hit, "Good Morning Beautiful", played widely across North America.
The concert will feature music and tracks from his new All Roads album, while also revisiting some of the familiar hits from his earlier success as one half of the gold selling, pop duo, McMaster & James.
The concert will wind up with tracks from Luke's exciting new, electronic infused pop soul project, Instinct, planned for release next January.
The success of Luke's new solo career owes much to his collaborations with such talent as Justin Timberlake, Randy Bachman, of The Guess Who and Christina Aguilera, as well as his song writing successes with Rihanna, Jesse Labelle, of Heartbreak Coverup, Nick Lachey and many more.
Much like the album title, McMaster has been down all roads in the music industry, beginning on street corners busking, to bar bands, to the duo, writing, collaborating and producing.
"I've come full circle. It's the theme of the whole tour," he said. "When you get to do what you love and love what you do, it's a blessing."
