The Weyburn Concert Series presents award-winning vocalist and songwriter Lizzy Hoyt at Grace United Church on Tuesday, November 5 at 7:30 p.m.
Lizzy is a Canadian "east meets west" performer, combining energetic fiddling from the Maritimes with country-folk songs from the west.
She won Best Female Artist at the International Acoustic Music Awards, was Canadian Folk Music Award Nominee, and most recently received the Queen's Diamond Jubilee Medal for her outstanding contribution to commemorating both Canadian veterans and Canadian history through music.
Lizzy Hoyt and her trio feature a variety of instruments including fiddle, guitar, mandolin and harp and promise to deliver a high-energy show that you won't want to miss.
