The Weyburn Public Library will be holding its second annual Christmas Coffee House on Thursday, Nov. 28; this is the first year the fundraising event will include a silent auction.

The Coffee House festivities will run from 6 to 8 p.m., during which Cherith Alexander will perform a selection of music for those in attendance and Map of the World Murals created by Grade 5 classes from multiple Weyburn schools will be on display. There will also be cookie decorating in the Programming Room and baking, coffee, hot cocoa, tea, and hot cider available for the public.

The library is anticipating 300 guests and all the funds raised will be put towards eliminating the 2014 materials budget deficit.

The library is also looking for donations to add to their silent auction. For more information or to contribute, contact Terry Gillespie, the adult programmer, at the library.
