The Legacy Park Performing Arts Club will put on the musical 'Finding Nemo' on Wednesday, Nov. 8, and Thursday, Nov. 9, at 7 p.m. in the school gym.

WEYBURN – The stage musical version of the Disney/Pixar movie, “Finding Nemo”, will be performed over two nights at Legacy Park Elementary School.

The Legacy Park Performing Arts Club will put on the musical tonight, Nov. 8, and Thursday, Nov. 9, at 7 p.m. in the school gym.

The admission will be by donation at the door.

The musical will follow the story of a clown fish named Nemo, his father Marlin and a new friend, Dory.

Nemo, played by Crimson Dionne, gets lost swimming out in the ocean, and is picked up by a diver who puts him into his fish tank at home in Sydney, Australia.

Marlin (played by Kade Gordon) swims off in search for him, and Dory (Lola Szczecinski) joins him in his adventures in the ocean.

These include meeting up with Bruce the shark (Avren Wilson) and his friends on the way to finding Nemo.

The “tank gang” of fish who help Nemo escape includes Jayla Diddy as Bloat, Lee Segaya as Gurgle, Natalia McKechnie as Bubbles, Emily Stroeder as Peach, and America Regidor as the older fish, Gill.

The musical is directed by music teacher Holly Butz.
