Weyburn artist Manuel Acosta puts on the final touches on a mural sign for the original play, "The Idaho Kid at the Waverly", which will be produced by the Tommy Douglas Performing Arts Centre at the King George Hotel (formerly the Waverly Hotel). The play, written and directed by John Nolan of the T.C. Douglas Centre, focusses on the legendary story of the "Idaho Kid" who allegedly shot up the Waverly Hotel in an incident in Weyburn's early history. The play's premiere performances will be held on May 17-19 and 24-26 at the King George.
