KIPLING - Kipling School held their Christmas concerts virtually once again.
Even though the students weren’t able to present their concerts in person, they still put the same effort into practising and dressing the part for their video performance.
Makyla Brems’ Grade 3 class presented the skit portion of their Christmas selection The Littlest Reindeer, with some even donning their reindeer ears.
In the production, it's Christmas and the North Pole crew is putting the final touches on Santa's sleigh when who should appear but the Littlest Reindeer. All the elves and the other reindeer laugh at her and tell her to get out of the way, but she comes to the rescue when Santa gets stuck in a too-small chimney.
Just like the Littlest Reindeer, this heartwarming original musical helped children discover the special gifts inside them.
Throughout the play, the younger grades took the stage to act out their portion of the concert to songs.
Becky Ottenbreight’s kindergarten class sang to Up, Up, Up and Away in Santa’s magic sleigh.
Vanessa Kish’s Grade 1 class dressed in their Christmas attire and sang along to A Special Gift.
Amanda Smyth’s Grade 2 class, donning Christmas sweaters, dresses or Santa hats, took the stage, singing along to Santa’s Gonna get Stuck in the Chimney.
All the grades gathered on stage for their final group performance, singing We Wish You a Merry Christmas, finishing out the afternoon with everyone taking a bow.
