On Sunday, August 11, between 10:00 a.m. and 6:00 p.m., members of the Weyburn Wildlife Federation, as well as Saskatchewan Conservation Officers, will be at Nickel Lake to teach children how to fish.

The 'Hooked on Fishing, Not on Drugs' is a fishing skill program for young people. All supplies are provided by the mobile fishing unit. The focus ages will be children ages six to 12, however all ages are welcome. Parents must provide supervision for children six and under. There will be no cost to participate.

There will be something for everyone, including the paddling pool, the beach, the mini golf course, a canteen and, of course, fishing.

Seitz's Rentals and Supplies will be on site with six bouncy houses. Parents can purchase $10 wrist bands for each of their children to have unlimited bouncing fun.
