During July and August the Weyburn Duplicate Bridge Club plays on Monday evenings only at the Wheatland Senior Centre starting at 7:00 p.m. All Bridge players are welcome to come and play.
On July 1, with three tables playing, Gord Bell and Rick Wanner started the month with a first place finish, while Diane Bell and Barry Mactaggart placed second.
Three and a half tables played on July 8 and Gord and Diane Bell had a strong game finishing first, Bernie Dufour and Marg Stewart placed second and Erskine and Mildred Sandiford were third.
July 15 had three tables out and Gord Bell and Marg Stewart finished on top while Diane Bell and Bernie Dufour placed second.
Four tables played on July 22 and placing first were Jim Brown and George Gillies, placing second were Marg Stewart and Bernie Dufour, and placing third were Gord Bell and Lydia Milleker.
With three and a half tables playing on July 29, Gord Bell and Barry Mactaggart ended the month with a first place finish, Bernie Dufour and Diane Bell came second edging out Jim Brown and George Gillies who were third.
