Didgeridoo to be raffled

Dave Rennie demonstrates how the didgeridoo is played one last time before putting it under the Christmas tree at the Tommy Douglas Centre to be included in their Christmas fundraiser and raffle. The raffle includes the didgeridoo along with an instructional book and DVD, a large hand-made gingerbread house made by Carol Reeve and a food hamper valued at $475 donated by Rennie and his wife, Donna, which is chock full of festive foods. The raffle will be drawn on Sunday, Dec. 15 after the final performance of "Twas the Night Before Christmas" which will be performed on Saturday, Dec. 14 at 3 p.m. and Sunday at 3 p.m. Tickets can be purchased from board members of the Tommy Douglas Centre, Dave and Donna Rennie or Elise and Ryan Repko prior to Dec. 14 or at the centre before and after performances. All the money raised will be put toward repairs to the centre's roof and facilities.
