Weyburn Special Events is pleased to announce the 2012 Treasures of Home Craft & Trade Show, which will be happening this Saturday, November 17, from 10:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. at the Royal Canadian Legion Hall as well as at Grace United Church Hall. Admission is $2.00 and includes admittance to both facilities and a free Christmas Photo Booth opportunity. Donations will also be accepted at the door for the Salvation Army Food Bank.
This event, which began in November of 2002 with 25 home-based businesses, has grown and now has expanded to two venues and close to 60 different vendors. The public is invited to stop down and support all these wonderful home-based and small businesses and to enjoy a wonderful Christmas shopping experience.
This year, there is also the addition of the Photo Booth. Safari Snapz of Weyburn will have their portable photo booth set up offering photos to guests. There are many props to choose from including Christmas themed props. Donations will be accepted for the photos, which will go toward the Salvation Army Food Bank to help them stock their shelves for the upcoming Christmas season.
Admission to the event is just $2 and allows you access to both venues. A portion of the proceeds from the event will be donated to the Weyburn Comprehensive SRC and the Weyburn Hurricanes Water Polo Club for their assistance with the event. Sun Country Kids Club will also be receiving a portion of the proceeds to go toward their Breakfast with Santa event on December 8.
Lunch will be sold downstairs at the Legion Hall, while smoothies, tea and other yummy goodies will be sold at Grace United Church Hall. Stop in and see what the event has to offer! You will see everything from house wares, food, clothing and accessories, jewellery, toys, pet supplies, candles, health and wellness, home decor and much more! Grab your family, friends or co-workers and pop down for, lunch, shopping and a quick stop at the photo booth!
