The Communithon Superheroes create sidewalk art during a kickoff barbecue at Memorial Park, held on Friday afternoon to start the 50-day countdown to the Weyburn and District United Way Communithon. The Communithon Superheroes have been visiting local businesses to encourage fundraising programs to lead up to the Communithon itself, which will be held Friday and Saturday, Oct. 25 and 26 at the Cugnet Centre at the Weyburn Comp. This year's goal is $140,000, which will be used to support the 11 member agencies of the United Way.
