City workers Don Waddell, left, and Les Myers, work to clear drains on the corner of Railway and Sixth Street during the early morning hours of April 3. Myers was pumping hot steam down the man holes to break up ice blockages while Myers stood ankle deep in frigid water to clear an ice dam that caused a puddle to begin to form. The city is taking precautions to make sure the melting snow drains properly in hopes of preventing a flood.
