The concert will now be held in the Weyburn Comprehensive Cafetorium.

Weyburn Concert Series is looking forward to an exciting new season featuring a variety of performers that will appeal to a wide audience.

Due to the change of location, tickets for the Brent Butt concert have almost sold out.

November concerts are also in danger of being relocated.

Kicking off the season on Tuesday, October 15 is Brent Butt, well known for his stand-up comedy routines as well as his #1 comedy sitcom, Corner Gas.

After honing his comedy in school Brent moved to the city to pursue a career in stand-up comedy and within months was headlining in top clubs in Toronto and abroad. Weyburn's Star Choir under the direction of Colleen Weimer will be the opening act.

Lizzy Hoyt will be performing on Tuesday, November 4. She is an award-winning vocalist and songwriter who ranks among the top instrumentalists in the country.

Lizzy combines energetic fiddling from the Maritimes, with country folk songs from the west in a high energy show that you won't want to miss.

Singer-songwriter Jim Reader will be performing with the ProCoro Canada chamber choir from Edmonton on Friday, November 22. Outstanding vocal arrangements are accompanied by a computerized slide show which will make you smell the sage and taste the trail dust in this musical adventure through the old west.

Song-writer Jeffery Straker will be appearing on Monday, February 19th, 2014. Jeffery started piano lessons in a small Saskatchewan town and has gone on to release several studio albums. Canadian Music magazine is quoted as saying, "Straker was simply spectacular...demonstrating showmanship in every sense of the word."

Infinitus consists of three award winning musicians from Canada and the United States. Formed in 2002, their accomplishments to date include winning the Grand Prize at the Friends of Chamber Music Competition in Vancouver and making regular appearances with the Vancouver Symphony Orchestra. They will be appearing on Monday, March 17, 2014.

The Inclines "Sweet Dreams of Patsy Cline" is a musical celebration of the life and times of the legendary Patsy Cline. Through narration and song, The Inclines revisit Patsy's life from her humble beginnings to the tragic accident that took her life. This two hour show will bring Patsy's magical music to life with such timeless classics as "I Fall to Pieces", "Crazy", and "Walking in the Rain". This is the last concert of the season and will be held on Friday, April 25, 2014.

Concert Series memberships are still available and may be purchased at Superior Office Products or at the Brent Butt concert.
