Barb Frazer, a knowledge keeper, First Nations cultural advisor and traditional art-forms artist, speaks to students from Grades 8 and 9 about blessing and being thankful for their food before they begin to eat a lunch in the tradition of First Nations people at St. Michael School on Mar. 28. She spent some three days at the school, speaking to both staff and to students about First Nations cultural traditions and art, and their time was culminated with this lunch, held as a celebration of the gift of spring.
