WEYBURN – A cast of 60 Weyburn Comp students gathers on the Cugnet Centre stage twice a week for rehearsals, as they prepare for the spring musical, Grease, to be produced in late May.
Director Tanya Cameron, with assistance from Holly Butz, are leading the group through each song and dance number, and will be working through their lines as well, as they get ready to perform.
The cast will be accompanied by a pit band of seven musicians, with a sound and stage crew also working behind the scenes to make everything run smoothly.
Grease will be presented at the Cugnet Centre on May 24-27 at 7 p.m., and on May 29 for a matinee show at 2 p.m.
Tickets are available at the WCS main office, and cost $25 for adults, and $15 for seniors and students with children five and under free.
