Eltje Degenhart, far right, explains the process of silkscreen printmaking to a group of art lovers attending the "Art is a Part of the Heart" exhibit at the Allie Griffin Art Gallery. Degenhart, a former local artist and art teacher, worked in collaboration with the Triple C Centre to host the exhibit on Thursday. Prints of his work "Right at My Feet" were sold during the evening for $300, and $200 of each print will be donated back to the Triple C Centre. In addition to sales at the Allie Griffin Art Gallery, prints can be purchased at the Total Effects Day Spa or Superior Office.
