The professional division of the Royal Winnipeg Ballet will be performing excerpts from Swan Lake and other ballets at St. Michaels School on Tuesday, November 26 at 7:30 p.m.

The professional division of the Royal Winnipeg Ballet is being brought to Weyburn by the Rotary Club of Weyburn.

"The Royal Ballet professional division is a school. These are senior students that will be headed out on their own careers soon," said Rotarian Bob King.

This evening will bring excerpts from famous ballets to the people of Weyburn and introducing first-timers to the world of ballet.

There will be a brief explanation of ballet, excerpts from Swan Lake, Sarabande, Macabre, Cadabra and Tendencies.

"Macabre, Cadabra is a story about the devil waking in a cemetery," said King.

Tickets are available at the door or at Music Craft, $15 for adults and $10 for children.
