Weyburn resident Kathryn Groshong shows her long-lived amaryllis flower, which she has had for 58 years; she first got it when her son Willis was born in 1954. It has eight blossoms, the most its ever had, on three tall stalks, and the flower only blooms briefly once a year; she has a painting of this flower on the wall behind, which she painted in 1960.
