ESTEVAN - The city issued a reminder that several streets and intersections will be closed in Estevan on Monday, some since morning and others later.
Pine Avenue and King Street intersection is closed on Monday with no through traffic due to construction work. Local traffic allowed on the north end of Pine Avenue. The public is requested to avoid this area until the construction work has been completed.
Commencing at 6 p.m. on Monday Fourth Street and 11th Avenue intersection will be completely closed with no through traffic including city hall sidewalk due to water valve replacements. The back allies will remain open for access to local businesses. This construction will continue overnight and throughout Tuesday for road work to be completed.
As well, Fifth Street and 11th Avenue intersection and 12th Avenue to Souris Avenue – no through traffic. The public is requested to avoid these areas until the construction work has been completed.
Affected customers by water disruption will be on boiled water advisory.
