ESTEVAN - Local residents are encouraged to attend the grad parade that will once again be part of the Estevan Comprehensive School’s graduation festivities.
The parade will start at 7 p.m. in front of the Estevan Leisure Centre. It will then work its way up Souris Avenue North to King Street.
The parade will then head east along King Street. The route will take the students up to the Estevan Comprehensive School’s parking lot, and then they will head south, back towards King Street.
The parade will conclude at the leisure centre.
This year’s grad festivities will mark the return of the traditional cap-and-gown ceremony, which will start at 2 p.m. at Affinity Place. The ceremony will feature a number of speeches and the presentation of diplomas.
The grad photo, which will also return this year, will be at 5 p.m. in front of the Estevan Court House.
If the weather doesn’t co-operate, the grad parade will be replaced by an informal grand march at 7 p.m. at Affinity Place.
