ASSINIBOIA - The Assiniboia Festival of Trees Committee is getting set to Share the Joy at their December 3, 2022 live auction event.

It appears the community is just as excited to get together to raise funds for the Â鶹´«Ã½AV Country Health Care Foundation and Prince of Wales Cultural and Recreation Centre.

“We’ve only got a handful of tickets available,” said Michele Hoffos, committee chair. “We are thrilled with the fantastic response to our event and it validates that everyone is excited to finally get together in person again.”

The $85 ticket gives participants the opportunity to demonstrate their support by bidding on donated items during the Grand Auction. Hoffos says the response of the business community in the area has been fantastic and donations have been streaming in.

“We’ll have three beautiful trees up for auction this year and many other amazing items for attendees to bid on. We are so thankful for the support of the business community. It’s because of their donations that we are able to host this festive event.” The event also features a silent auction and the Choose Your Joy gift raffle.

A scrumptious feast along with desserts created by Marita Williams and her team at Fresh Start will kick off the evening and following the live auction, guests can dance the night away to the greatest hits of all time performed by the UnCoolas.

The committee is accepting donations right up until Friday, December 2 and donors can contact Erin Eberle at 306-640-8919 or Mom’s Florist at 306-642-4777 if they wish to donate or have any questions.

Anyone wishing to get their hands on one of the few remaining tickets can contact Paul Topola at 306-642-5416.
