ESTEVAN - After many years, the Energy City Ex revamped the Rodeo Queens contest, which saw two young participants competing for the title.
After participating in different parts of the contest, Rykelle Holinaty was named the Estevan Rodeo Queen, and Breanna Fichter became the first princess.
For the next year, both the queen and the princess will be ambassadors for the Estevan Exhibition Association and for the City of Estevan.
They will be visiting vendors and attending community events, just making a presence and promoting the EEA and the city.
After a year, during the 2023 rodeo, Holinaty will pass the hat, buckle and the title to the next elected Estevan Rodeo Queen.
