ESTEVAN - Members of the Estevan Police Service have made a couple of arrests for impaired driving this week.
As a result of a traffic stop in the downtown area on Nov. 10, a 20-year-old man from Estevan was suspended from driving for 120 days and the vehicle he was operating was impounded for seven days, after he tested positive for THC on a roadside screening test.
Charges are pending the outcome of blood tests.
During the early morning hours of Nov. 13, a traffic stop in east central Estevan was made, which resulted in a 17 year old male having his driver’s licence suspended for 60 days after failing a roadside screening test for marijuana.
Impaired driving charges are pending the results of further testing.
His vehicle was impounded for three days.
