ESTEVAN - The City of Estevan would like to advise the public commencing at 6 p.m. on June 27 Fourth Street & 11th Avenue intersection will be completely closed with no through traffic including city hall sidewalk due to water valve replacements.
The back allies will remain open for access to local businesses. This construction will continue overnight and throughout the next day for road work to be completed. As well, Fifth Street and 11th Avenue intersection and 12th Avenue to Souris Avenue no through traffic.
The public is requested to avoid these areas until the construction work has been completed.
Also, on June 28 commencing at 6:00 p.m., southbound lanes of Souris Avenue at Second Street will be closed with no through traffic due to water valve replacement. The two northbound lanes will remain open during this construction time.
As well, on the corner of Souris Avenue and Perkins Street, there will be no foot traffic as work is commencing. This construction will continue overnight and throughout the next day for road work to be completed. The public is requested to slow down and use caution when travelling in the construction zone. The public is advised to find an alternate route at this time.
Affected customers by water disruption will be on a boil water advisory.
