ESTEVAN - Residents, families and staff members of the Estevan Regional Nursing Home enjoyed a family fun afternoon on Aug. 30 to mark the last days of summer.
The recreation staff at the nursing home organized the event, which included live outdoor music provided by Kelly and Del Eagles. Patti Ksenych and Lisa Beaulieu volunteered their time, providing face painting and balloon animals.
Cotton candy was prepared and served to all who attended. A Cherry On Top ice cream truck also attended and was a big hit overall.
The event was a way to bring the ERNH residents and families together. The recreation department thanks everyone that made the afternoon a success. The residents were all smiling during the day.
