UPDATE: Advisories remain in effect for some southeast highways

Several highways in the southeast corner are affected.

The Ministry of Highways and Infrastructure is reporting fog-related issues on southeast highways.

SOUTHEAST SASKATCHEWAN - A number of highways in southeast Saskatchewan are reporting issues on Saturday due to fog and other weather conditions.

According to the Ministry of Highways and Infrastructure's Highways Hotline, visibility is reduced on some highways and poor in others. The highways are also listed as partly covered in some areas.

The affected routes include: 

  • Highway 13 from Stoughton to the Manitoba border; 
  • Highway 18 from the junction with Highway 9 to the Manitoba border;
  • Highway 9 from the junction with Highway 18 to the south junction with Highway 48;
  • Highway 8 from the U.S. border to north of Highway 1; 
  • Highway 48 from the south junction with Highway 9 to the Manitoba border; 
  • Highway 33 from Stoughton to Fillmore; and
  • Highway 318.
