UPDATE:
SOUTHEAST SASKATCHEWAN - The special weather statement has been lifted for southeast Saskatchewan.
According to the advisory, issued Wednesday morning, a Colorado low WAS approaching southeast Saskatchewan and southern Manitoba, bringing a change to the mild temperatures, as well as a mixed bag of precipitation.
The advisory WASfor Estevan, Weyburn, Carlyle, Moosomin, Whitewood, Redvers, Oxbow, Carnduff and other communities. It was lifted Thursday afternoon.
"A sharp rain-snow line is expected to develop parallel and south of Lake Manitoba and arc northeast towards Lake Winnipeg and the Ontario border. However, uncertainty exists on the exact position of this boundary," the advisory stated.

A return to colder, although still above seasonal, temperatures is forecast for the weekend into next week.
The Ministry of Highways and Infrastructure's Highway Hotline shows winter conditions on most southeast highways. Some have icy or slippery sections, and others are wet subject to freezing. T
