ESTEVAN - The Estevan branch of the Royal Canadian Legion has announced the winners of its eighth annual truck raffle.
Mark Morissette from Lampman won the grand prize – his choice between a 2024 Ford F-150 XLT pick-up truck or $50,000 cash. Second prize of $10,000 went to Harold Whiteoak from Weyburn and third prize of $5,000 was won by Kalin Dumur from Estevan.
In a post on its Facebook page, the legion thanked everyone who purchased a ticket, along with Senchuk Ford for its continued support of the legion's fundraising efforts, Canadian Tire in Estevan for its support, and administrators of Facebook pages who allowed the legion to post multiple times, promoting the raffle.
The draw was made during the legion's annual New Year's Eve party. Kelly J. Gill and the Hired Guns provided entertainment.
