Police also responded to a noise complaint at a local apartment complex. Officers spoke with both parties and issued a warning under the city’s noise bylaw.

Police, along with Estevan Fire Rescue members, responded to a report of a dog that had fallen through the ice at Woodlawn Park. The dog was located and found to be safe.

Officers also attended a residence to keep the peace while individuals collected their belongings.

Earlier in the week on April 3, while on patrol, EPS members arrested a 40-year-old man for failing to comply with court-ordered release conditions. He was lodged in cells and was scheduled to appear in court end of the week.

Members were also dispatched to the ball diamonds on Wellock Road following a report of a vehicle driving on the grass between two schools. Officers attended, but the vehicle was not located. The matter is under investigation.

Police are also investigating a report of criminal harassment. Statements are pending.
